Our Story
With 15 years of experience as a plumbing technician, and owner of his own plumbing company, Russ Lindsey noticed a need to start a new, ethically and morally based water remediation company. Too often he noticed that his clients were being price-gouged or treated unfairly by water damage companies who were trying to make a quick dollar. Often the homeowner would be unhappy with the referral and several clients were lost permanently because of their experience.
In 2003, Russ opened Accu-Dry Emergency Water Removal (then called Accu-Dry Restoration) and began courting plumbing companies and insurance companies, with a new business that was there for one reason, to take care of the customer in the most professional manner possible. His research and real world experience made it clear that this was the perfect opportunity to fill a major void and offer a clearly better solution to homeowners needing help with water damage restoration.
In 2005 Russ realized that there was a greater need than just serving the metro-Phoenix area and expanded with a second office serving Northern Arizona. He has since closed his plumbing business, and has made Accu-Dry his main focus. He only hires technicians that he would be comfortable with in his own home. He firmly believes that continuing education in the field and a classroom setting is necessary to provide the best service to his clients. He believes that keeping the interests of the client first is a win-win situation for everyone involved.
